Erró is an Icelandic Pop artist known for his work in collage. He reassembles imagery from a variety of popular sources including advertisements, comics, and posters, earning him comparisons to earlier Pop artists such as Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol, and James Rosenquist. He was born Guðmundur Guðmundsson in 1932 in Ólafsvík, Iceland and studied engraving, fresco, and painting at the Academy of Oslo.
